Programs

Spaces to heal, lead, and learn — together.

What we do?

Our programs support Black, Indigenous, and racialized women and gender-diverse youth to take part in public life with safety, care, and confidence. We work with communities and partners to grow skills, deepen connection, and move toward change.

Cyber Bytes

Everyday digital safety we practice together, for organizing and daily life.

We cover safer communication, responses to technology-facilitated gender-based violence, and collective care so safety isn’t an individual burden.

Civic Learning

Skills, analysis, and community care for public life.

We read power together, try tools (from meeting decision-makers to media basics), and move at a human pace with room to pause, practice, and reflect.

How we work?

Heal We center care and consent. Sessions begin with grounding, content notes, and real choices about how to participate. We name systems—and make space for feelings and rest.
Lead Leadership is shared. We practice facilitation, decision-making, and accountability that honor lived experience. We invite people to lead from where they are, not from titles.
Learn Learning is practical and collective. We use plain language, try things together, and leave with steps you can use the same day—plus resources to keep going.

What guides us

We partner with forward-thinking individuals and organizations to expand civic engagement opportunities for the people most impacted by inequities. Our approach is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and rooted in intersectional feminism. We name systems clearly, honour lived experience, and build practical pathways for action.

Our impact so far

Over the past five years, we’ve hosted more than 120 workshops and gatherings with 3,000+ participants from Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities. These spaces reduce isolation, nurture connections across difference, and strengthen our social fabric.

“Spaces like these are community-building… places to come and sit and share and cry and laugh and keep our hands busy are important.”

An ecosystem of care and collaboration

We’re not focused only on individual growth. We build ongoing, collective support and a continuous learning cycle, within communities and with partners. We also share our practice outward: offering training and guidance to partner organizations (including corporate teams) to deepen anti-racism and inclusive practices across the wider ecosystem.
