Calling all Queer and Racialized Youth!

We’re looking for Queer – Black, Indigenous and racialized young women and gender diverse youth between the ages of 15 and 29 to share their experiences and knowledge about Queer specific programming through surveys & focus groups.

This research is being conducted to support the development of future programming at Platform and to better understand the needs and desires of racialized queer women and gender diverse youth across Canada.

The goal of these consultations is to learn more from racialized queer women and gender diverse youth and identify gaps and barriers in order to ensure that programming is representative and fulfills the needs of youth across Canada.

A report back from the consultations and surveys will be shared and confidentiality will be maintained for all participants involved.

What will we do?

There are two options for engagement, and participants can engage in either:

Focus Group

The Focus Groups should last around an hour.  All data will be anonymized for confidentiality purposes.

The focus groups will be led by staff at Platform. 

Focus Group Participants will be compensated a $50 honorarium for their time and knowledge. 

Survey

Survey registrations will be open until March 4th. Survey participants will be given a $25 honorarium. 

Survey should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.

Participants may only engage in either a focus group or a survey.
